Have two people from each group blindfolded. They each have one minute to locate as many objects in the rice as they can and take them out and place them on the tray. The one with the most when time is called wins. 5. Interindividual- you can play this one on one; intergroup- 2 teams verse each other 6. Adaption: An adaptation for this activity would be for someone with a sensory processing disorder. Sensory processing disorder may affect one sense, like hearing, touch, or taste. Or it may affect multiple senses. The blindfolds would not be used for some with SPD. Also, someone would assist the participant in helping them find the items. You could also take the timer out and just have it be an activity that everyone does together and can just work on sensory skills & hand and arm movement; use bigger objects, like fruit, to make it easier to grab and find.
