Main Lesson Aims (Concepts, Procedures, & Processes):


- Students will be able to solve division problems by using equal groups.

Possible Problems and Misconceptions:


- Some students might get very excited when giver instructions to their classmate while
playing.

Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge):

1- 1. After the greeting, I will play with students to introduce concept of


division. I will put some of cubes on the carpet and I will cover eyes one 8 min
of student. I will ask other students to give him instructions to move to
collect cubes. I will choose a group of students to distribute what he
collected .then we will get what the title of lesson.

Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures):

2- I will explain to students examples of division problems. I will show 10
of eggs and 2 nuts. I will choose student to count eggs and ask him/her 17 min
to distribute it equally for 2 nuts. At the same time I will write division
number sentence on the board. I will show the students 15 foam mango
and four plates. I will choose student to count the mango and ask
him/her to distribute equally for 4 plates. At the same time I will write
division number sentence on the board. I will show the students 9 shells 15min
and 3 baskets. I will choose student to count shells and distribute for 3
baskets. At the same time I will write division number sentence on the
board.
3- I will give the students their activity after give them instructions about
it. I will divide students into 3 levels.
4- High level: they will do flower division activity. They will divided on 3, 4,
5, 6 numbers.
5- Medium level: they will do house board game. They will stick division
number sentence on related answer on house board.
6- Low level: they will do cubes activity. They will pick up division problem
flashcard from box .they will write it on the paper .they will do groups of
cubes to get answer division problems. Then they will count it to check it
from their answer.
7- . I will send them back to their tables.
8- I will move around to help the students and watch their work.
