Technical Analyst/Developer

PeopleSoft Time and Labor Implementation:

• Enrolled employees in their Absences types (Leave of absence, unjustified, vacations, PTO)plans and
verified if it gets populated correctly for employee under their balances.
• Worked on Configuring PeopleSoft Time and Labor report time, scheduled time, exceptions, rules for
both exempt and non exempt employees.
• Worked on Assigning Schedules for part time and full time employees.
• Developed few custom error messages.
• Created Punch exception errors for punch work groups.
• Enrolled employees in leave accrual both manually and also by running leave accrual process and
verified if they are enrolled correctly.
• Verified Time and labor rounding rules to punch transactions for Non-exempt employees.
• Verified if Web clock functionality is working correctly by logging as punch employee with web clock
access and clock In, Lunch, Clock Out.

PeopleSoft HR upgrade from 8.9 to 9.0

 Worked on running and analyzing the Compare reports for the 8.9 to 9.0 upgrade. The customizations
were identified and checked with the delivered functionality in 9.0. The custom code and the old
documentation were used to create the new technical specifications for the Upgrade.
 Applied several of this customization back to the new upgrade 9.0 database and a project was created
with the custom object for migrations.
 Created several Data Mover scripts to move data between environments for testing.
 Checked and modified several custom reports which were affected due to the record structure changes
and tested against the upgraded database.
 Worked on PS work force admin, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll Interface enhancements for the
upgrade.
 Created test cases and test matrix and tested all the above modules manually.
 Involved in the meetings with the functional users and documented the changes that came up in the
meetings.
 Organized meetings for UAT and explained the users the process of testing and helped them develop

 Worked on the full life cycle of employee processing cycle: - From Finding an applicant  Hire applicant

MITS Customer Maintenance Application (Modules - AR/BI)

 Developed a custom module for loading the new Customers/Updates to customers into the PeopleSoft
Application.
 Traced the PeopleSoft custom Entry process to get the tables needed for developing the MITS
application.
 Worked with the users to get the business requirements and then converted them into PeopleSoft
technical document. Worked with the users to give them a POC demo and then developed the
Application once they approved the POC.
 Created custom pages, records, components and People code for supporting the custom MITS
application.
 Created test cases and test matrix and tested all the above modules manually.

NOKIA to NAVTEQ financial Integration (Modules – GL, AR, AP)

 Developed a custom module to convert the NAVTEQ financial data into NOKIA financial data.
 Custom pages were developed to maintain the Chartfield mapping of NAVTEQ and NOKIA.
 Application Engine processes was developed to use the Chartfield mapping conversion data to convert
NAVTEQ financial data into NOKIA data and then loaded into custom NOKIA tables.
 Developed a custom module to convert the NAVTEQ financial data into NOKIA financial data.
 Created test cases and test matrix and tested all the above modules manually.
 Row-Level security was used to allow the NOKIA users to see the converted data using the custom
PeopleSoft inquiry pages.
 New custom workflow was used to maintain the Chartfield mapping data.
 Developed several custom reports using SQR and nVision tools to report the financial data in the
NAVTEQ and NOKIA tables.

Technical Analyst/Developer

PeopleSoft Financials upgrade from 8.4 to 8.9

 Worked on Retro-fitting the 8.4 customizations into the 8.9 database due to the new changes in the 8.9
release.
 Helped Financials users in creating new scripts and changing the old existing scripts for the 8.9
functionality testing.
 Working with the Technical users in the stress/Regression testing of the Expenses and GL modules
using both manual and automated scripts using Mercury LoadRunner tool. Helped the technical
consultants in recording the automated scripts.
 Working on some new customizations which have been identified as part of the upgrade.
 Worked with the Functional users in analyzing the new functionality to see how it can be used for
streamlining CME processing.

Boeing, USA Aug 2005- Nov 2006

Technical Consultant/Developer

Project: PeopleSoft Project Costing and AR/Billing Accounting Transformation Project.

 Worked on the SSG service bill process for the Accounting Transformation project. This involved creation
of several pages, components, Application Engines, Components Interfaces, Peoplecode programs.
 Worked on the development of the conversion Application engine programs for the COA changes. This
involved converting several large tables in the Project Costing side.
 Worked on the SSG YTD attribute process which involved developing several new pages and Application
Engines.
 Ran several Custom processes developed by Boeing for Project costing due to the COA changes.
 Worked on the Configuration of data using online and ExceltoCI method.
 Created Functional and Technical documentation on the Macroscope side (P540, P490 and P600).
 Created several PS Queries for testing the converted data and results of the processes run due to the
COA changes.
 Worked on the security team in the setup and maintenance of User profiles, Roles and permission lists.
Also since the Row level security was turned on the Security trees had to be maintained periodically.
 Involved in the development of conversion programs for AR and Billing. PeopleSoft Application Engine
and SQR were used for the conversion process. In additional a number of customizations were identified
as the Delivered PeopleSoft AR and BI modules did not include most of the Government functionality.

Project: PeopleSoft GL and EPM (Global Consolidation module) implementation with conversion of
historical data from Hyperion.

 Setup Ledger Prep, Equitization and Elimination rules to process Thin GL data.
 Execute and verify results of GC processes (Ledger Prep, Equitization and Elimination) to ensure quality
of GL data.
 Own and maintain changes to various trees (Consolidation BU tree, Account Rollup Tree etc.).
 Performance tuning to bring all GC processes down under 40 minute’s run-time.
 Developed customized ExcelToCI utility to load journals in GC. This initiative brought down journal entry
time from 8 hours to a few minutes.
 Involved in manual testing of People soft Financial 8.9.
