How did you select your expert in the field?

I selected my expert in the field, Mrs. Dena Reid, because she has been in the Water Industry
for 28 years and has worked for the City of Eden for the last 26 years.

Describe what your expert does at his/her workplace?

Mrs. Reid is the superintendent and operator in responsible charge for the City of Eden Water
Filtration Plant. She is responsible for making sure that the City of Eden Water Plant meets the
regulations enforced by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and to provide safe
drinking water to the citizens of Eden.

What did you learn from your expert in the field about your topic?
I learned from my expert how water is cleaned and the steps it takes to clean it. I also learned
that the Water Industry is very complicated and that it is not for everyone.

How did your expert in the field assist you with your RCS Capstone Experience?
My expert has assisted me with my RCS Capstone Experience by reviewing my research paper
and letter of intent and checking for grammar and word choices. She also looked over my
ePortfolio, Product, and Blogs to see if there are any mistakes.
