Emergency Unemployment Compensation Tier III (EUC Tier III) TOP

If you were instructed to apply for Emergency Unemployment Compensation
Tier III (EUC Tier III) by letter or through our EUC Tier III Potential Eligibility
application:

Your claim will be made effective as early as November 8, 2009.

When your application is reviewed for processing, we will determine
whether or not you would qualify for a new unemployment claim or the
EUC Tier III benefits on a prior claim. We will send you a determination
notice that will advise you which type of claim was set up.
If a new claim was set up for you, but you did not work and earn
three times the weekly benefit amount on that new claim, you will be
disqualified on that claim and we will set up an EUC Tier III claim for
you on your prior eligible claim.
Once we process your claim, if you are eligible, you will be able to go
online and claim all weeks to which you are entitled, potentially dating
back to the beginning of the program.
You will also be able to claim all weeks to which you are entitled using our
automated phone system at 800-204-2418.

Filing A Claim For The First Time Or Reopening An Existing Claim TOP

Your current claim begins on Sunday, 7/11/2010

Your first date to claim benefits is Tuesday, Tuesday, 7/27/2010. On this
date, you should claim your weeks by going to www.FLUIDNow.com or
calling the automated Florida Teleclaims phone system at
1-800-204-2418.
If you are monetarily eligible and there are no outstanding questions
or eligibility issues on your claim, it takes at least three to four weeks
after filing your initial claim to get your first check. If there are
outstanding issues on your claim, we will contact you by
telephone or via the mailing or email address you provided in your
claim.

Continuing Your Claim TOP

To continue your claim and to request payment, you will need to "claim" or
"certify" for weeks of unemployment compensation benefits. The easiest and
most efficient way to certify for benefits is over the internet. You will need to
certify over the internet or by telephone every two weeks. No payment will
be issued until all eligibility issues on your claim have been resolved nor for
any weeks that you do not claim.

Your Schedule for Claiming Benefits TOP

Your claim weeks begin on Sunday and end on the next Saturday. Your first
date to claim benefits is Tuesday, 7/27/2010. You will normally claim two
weeks at a time and you will claim every other week on that day of the week
unless told otherwise. If you are unable to claim your benefits on that day,
claim as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days from your scheduled date.

Nonpaid Waiting Week TOP

The first eligible week on your new claim is a non-payable waiting week. You
will serve only one waiting week per claim year. If you are on an Emergency
Extension on any claim, you will not need to serve another waiting week on
that claim.

Creating a Personal Identification Number TOP

In order to claim benefits or get information about your claim through the
internet or by phone, you must create a PIN that you should not share with
anyone. Create your PIN through the Claim Your Weeks
(https://www2.myflorida.com/flccid/) application or by calling the automated
system at 1-800-204-2418 and following the prompts.
