Scencice of presenting and interpreting sastras : panchanga nyaya.

In intial 6 schools are of diiferent faculties of same. No controversies. But as kali advanced, different
groups found fault with each other.

There are two varieties of panchanga nyaya. U say as per time and need.

1: Pratignya: statement: what u want to state/prove. Should be very short.

2: Hetu reasons: proofs fro your statement

3: Udaharana : examples. U can different examples to cover different things. If u writing then tell as
amny less examples in a way to cover all points.

4: Upanaya: coming closer. Further explanation. Place where you deal with doubts. Cover all possible
doubts that may come up. Not smash doubts but try to show that how doubts are part of bigger picture
of your statement. Ex: Mayavadi says AT is impersonal. But we say yes there is broader picture and u say
brahemti paramatrmeti bhagavaneti..

Opposite position is not complete so u complete.

Doubt could be common misconception also. Even if u logically present some ppl still have hv edoubts.
So u logically dela with that.

It is generally attachment, misconception and confusing understanding bcz of onesided understanding.

5: Siddhanta : conclusion. You repeat thesis. Quote sastras to support case. Also u connect ur point to
other points u want to make in future.

Second way is when u face opponent:

1: Thesis : statement

2: Samsaya : Doubt ( your ooponent speaking)

3: Poorva paksha :

4: Your reply :

5: Conclusion : Nirnaya
This is how we deal with doubts in class.

Our acharyas say no point can be accepted unless go through this way.

Baladev vidyabhushan composed govinda bhashya in this way.

All 4 sampradaya and also mayavsid accept this.

Difference between bhashya and tika.

Sp does word to word explanation. It is almost like bhashya.

Bhashya also includes sangati (connections). Sariraka bhashya is not bhashya.


Only what vaishnavas deal is full bhashya.

4 essential elements of work.

Adhikari :

Sambandha: Describe Brahman

Vishaya: Faultless supreme Lord.

Prayojana: goal to realize Lord.

Anubandha catustaya.

Structure:

Vastutraya :

Sambandha: how one thing connects to other. All relationships go back to God
(whetehr u undersyand or not.) if u understand then it is for your benefit.ex:
there I s rug floor and urself. Floor has a nature, rug has nature and u have nature.
Then u know how to use. Ex: mat on floor. We on mat. But if purpose is not to sit
but strifle someone  then floor and on that persona nd on that rug  goal
changes then relationship changes

Floor is earth . depends on lord. On top of energy mat . so we are supported by K


energies. Ultimately we sit bcz we can hear K.katha.

LCM point is these 3 are discussions.

Ex: Ayurveda, u discuss ultimately goes back to K. astronomy goes back to K. u


understand Bhagavan then u actually understand sambandha.

Abhidheya: real occupation. 4 varnas and 4 ashramas. Doing that please K is real
occupation.

Prayojana : is to love for K.
