SLO All students will be able to apply the design cycle (investigate, plan, create, reflect)

to produce images for a specific purpose or audience. Through speaking and writing,
students will use academic language to critically analyze their images and the images of
others.

Performance Criteria
1. Student has produced a body of work (ie: process portfolio, sketches,
experiments, collected ephemera, storyboard, research, finished work, and
technical/media studies) that demonstrates the design cycle.

determining an image’s effectiveness through group critiques, artist
