Aesthetics Connections 1

Aesthetics in the modern world, exists as a separate science. Each person has his own
understanding, his own definition. Many have their own ideologies as to the purpose and
function it plays in society. This eventually leads to the fact that for others is hard to perceive
and discover the true essence of the present meaning. In fact, it is really difficult to find a
concrete definition of aesthetics, because there are so many sources - so many opinions. The
first group, or “source”- are scholars, who define aesthetics as the branch of philosophy dealing
with such notions as the beautiful, the ugly, the sublime, the comic, etc., as applicable to the fine
arts, with a view to establishing the meaning and validity of critical judgments concerning works
of art, and the principles underlying or justifying such judgments. As you know, science is the
exact knowledge, rules and statements. Speaking about the concept of aesthetics, it can not be
said that it can be limited by any rules, since so many people insist on their understanding, it is
obvious that the exact science and thoughts of people contradict one another.
The nature of aesthetics has been a perennial point of contention in aesthetics at large,
whether regarding fine arts, nature, popular culture or everyday objects and activities. Most
commonly, aesthetics encompasses both questions about art as well as questions involving
beauty. In this case, the definition of aesthetics in art suggests that this is a kind of philosophy
about beauty, that it completely defies any laws or rules, every person has the right to his own
view of this or that work of art. And then the question is not whether "do you like it?", But "does it
look good enough?". Absolutely everyone can discern his deep meaning in any aesthetic object.
For example, the famous Black Square also known as Malevich's Black Square is an iconic
painting by Kazimir Malevich. The public opinion of critics, historians, curators, and artists
strongly disagree. Some do not understand the meaning and significance of this one-color
figure, they do not see the point of admiring this work, while others say that behind this picture
lies the deepest meaning and even some mystery. Since this square of one is black, and there
are no forewords to this picture, people are beginning to try to discern something special,
unique, flawless, ideal, beautiful. Something that betrays at least some subjective value. This
can be called an esthetic opinion or judgment of art.
In my opinion, aesthetics is something that can not be limited to one word. This can not
be a teaching, because the teaching implies a limitation, but how can you limit what people try
to discover using their own opinions and imagination. The existence of life experience increases
the range of thoughts and images that a person can use when trying to evaluate any object that
can be in his environment. The most important point is that the subject matter of discussion may
seem absurd for the majority of people, while a small group, but still a group, can see the
frenzied impeccability and innocence of the composition. An example is an exhibition of living
bare sculptures. I am more than confident that many will not understand all the charm and
beauty of a natural body, but will only see lust and immorality. In fact, Mother Nature created us,
which means that there is nothing abominable in the world. What is natural, it's not ugly.
Aesthetics is a collection of people's opinions about the beauty that surrounds us.
