 Clinical Psychology research experience with Dr. Christopher Fagundes - BMED Lab Webpage
 Assisted a clinical psychology research group with Project HEART which aims to understand how the mind and body
interact to affect those confronted by stressful life events such as the loss of a loved one by measuring stress,
depression, anxiety, and inflammation.
 Responsibilities include: screening participants via phone, making recruitment calls, performing research protocols
related to the study, administering assessments, assisting with blood collection procedures, and running participants
through visits

Social Influences and Health Behaviors Laboratory - Research Assistant; University of Houston August 2016 - Present
 Social Psychology research experience with Dr. Clayton Neighbors - SIHB Lab Webpage
 Assisted a graduate student mentor with a study involving the policy, prevention, and/or treatment implications of
marijuana use, as well as another study implementing a condom use intervention. Assisted a postdoc with a study
involving alcohol related posts and their influence on drinking behaviors
 Currently conducting my own Senior Honors Thesis project on the influence of social media & dating applications on
sexual health behaviors
 Responsibilities include: running participants through protocols, writing and editing manuscripts, conducting literature
searches, programming surveys in Qualtrics, coding data, assisting senior research staff, performing data
management, inputting data in spreadsheets, writing summaries and critiques of research articles, and leading
article discussions

Yoga and Mindfulness Laboratory - Research Assistant; University of Houston September 2017 - November 2017
 School Psychology research experience with Dr. Bradley Smith - More Information
 Assisted a graduate student with applied research involving school-based yoga and mindfulness and its effects on
children, adolescents, young adults, teachers, and school administrators.
 Responsibilities include: observing participants, attending meetings, and maintaining a good relationship with teachers
and administrators

Sleep and Anxiety Laboratory - Research Assistant; University of Houston March 2017 - September 2017
 Clinical Psychology research experience with Dr. Candice Alfano - SACH Lab Webpage
 Assisted a graduate student with a study involving the role of the post-treatment sleep period in the enhancement of
fear reduction among children with specific phobia
 Responsibilities include: recruiting participants, conducting cold calls/recruitment calls, researching recruitment events,
and running participants through initial assessments and follow-up assessments
