According to Erikson these students are in the

10 to 20 year old category and this consists of

identity and role confusion. I think this fits

perfectly especially with Hannah’s situation. I

think that most gender scripts have to do with

role confusion because when the students do

not know who they are they will have a

tendency to fall into gender scripts and

believe them.
