Postoperative instructions for cataract surgery

 Client should report if vision should get worse
 Avoid aspirin
 Avoid blowing nose: increase intraocular pressure
 Avoid lifting objects more than 10 lbs

Meniere disease
 Move your head slowly to decrease vertigo
 Drink water
 Decrease salt intake
o Sodium exacerbates Menieres disease
 NO SMOKING
 Take antihistamines

Osteoporoisis taking alendronate

 Remain upright for 30 min
