often these errors occur from a failed firmware upgrade and can be resolved by
restoring the terminal back to factory defaults.

the video will show you how to complete a factory restore to bring the terminal
back to its out-of-box, factory default state including firmware, registry, file
system, and storage areas. all user data will be lost after the restore.

First, power off the terminal

when power is off, attach a USB Keyboard and USB mouse to the terminal.

Restart power to the terminal.

The video speed was increased as it may take a few minutes for the terminal to
restart.

As the terminal is booting up, use the mouse to click and hold on the small white
box in the bottom left corner of the screen.

This white box is only showm for a short duration during boot and only when the USB
keyboard is attached.

When the maintenance menu screen appears, use the arrow keys on the keyboard to
cycle thru the special boot actions and select factory defaults.

Then arrow up to continue booting with selected options and press enter to start
the factory restore.

The factory restore is complete when ME Station loads on the terminal.
You will now need to load tour application file and modify any settings as needed.
