Our group are number 3 and we are going to talk about the trafalgar battle.
It was a by the british royal navy against the combined fleets of of the
french and spanish navies.
On the 5th of october in 1804 the British fleet sank a Spanish passenger
ship.
Then spain signed a treaty with France and declared the war to great
britain on setember 12th in 1804.

Consecuencias (Nestor)
1- The Royal Navy had 449 dead, Without any sunken ship.
2- The combined fleet had 3240 dead and 22 ships sunk
3- Following the battle, the Royal Navy was never again challenged
by the French fleet.
4- Napoleon had already abandoned his plans of invasion before
the battle and they were never revived
5- Nelson became Britain's greatest naval war hero, and an
inspiration to the Royal Navy
6- The fact that the Spanish fleet was heavily weakened during the
Battle of Trafalgar, made commercial and military traffic
difficult, as well as the control of the Spanish colonies in
America, which facilitated the success of the American wars of
independence.
7- The faimous square Trafalgar Square was named in honour of
Nelson's victory,
