Instrucciones
PROHIBITED ITEMS: Large bags (except baby bags), Blackberry, firearms, explosives, and edged
weapons (including anything that could be perceived as a weapon, to include large belt buckles),
laptop computers, flash drives (memory sticks), thumb drives, and computer software, cameras and
camera phones, cell phones, pagers, electronic organizers, and blackberries, all battery operated and
electronic devices (MP3 players, iPods, radios, CD players, CD's, and DVD's, in addition to calculators,
vials and other containers that could carry chemical or biological agents, food (exception could be
made for baby food, if deemed necessary).
This list is not exhaustive. Other items may be prohibited at the discretion of security staff. There is no
facility at the Embassy/Consulate general to store prohibited items. You must make arrangements to
store these items before you enter the Embassy/Consulate General. Due to security considerations,
there is no information window for walk-in visitors at the Embassy or the Consulate General. Only visa
applicants with scheduled interviews will be admitted into the Embassy/Consulate General.
Effective January 1, 2013, access to the Consular Section is limited to visa applicants only with the
following exceptions:
