Define the different groups in society (research).
1. Primary group
A primary group is typically a small social group (small-scale society) whose members share close, personal, enduring
relationships. These groups are marked by members' concern for one another, in shared activities and culture. Examples
include family, childhood friends, and highly influential social groups.
2. Secondary group
Secondary groups are another type of social group. They have the opposite characteristics of primary groups. They can
be small or large and are mostly impersonal and usually short term. These groups are typically found at work and school.
3. In-groups and Out-groups
In sociology and social psychology, an ingroup is a social group to which a person psychologically identifies as being a
member. By contrast, an outgroup is a social group with which an individual does not identify.
4. Reference group
Sociologists call any group that individuals use as a standard for evaluating themselves and their own behavior a
reference group. Reference groups are used in order to evaluate and determine the nature of a given individual or other
group's characteristics and sociological attributes.
5. Networks
Social network is a sociological concept for a set of social relations between network elements that interact and which
are in particular individuals.

II. Why are political organizations important tin society?

Political Organization are important in society because they are what will make society move, and be contained. It would
be the one that would set the laws of the society for people to follow. Furthermore, these organization would be the
one that would set the voice of the nation.

III. In political organizations, a leadership that is recognized by the majority of its people is crucial for it to be effective. If
you are to choose a leader who will represent and lead your organization, how would you want this leader to be chosen
or selected?
Guidelines and partitions. Living in a society where we know that the way to choose our leaders is flawed to a point that
it’s unhealthy for the society, I think that guidelines to establish what are the qualifications for this leader would suffice.
Although our system would probably work if more people become educated, for now, in order to establish a better
society, we should have those. Another is partitions in which there are percentage over where the people are voters, a
percentage where senators vote, and a percentage in which experts would weigh in as wel.
