Karen Johannesen, Folkslee
Bazadaise Stud, have been
continuously refining and
improving their poll Baza-
daise stud breeding program
for more than 20 years.
It is now located at their
730-hectacre property Iro-
nie, on the foothills of the
Burnett Range.
The stud was formed
in 1995, with the intent of
pursuing the production of
genetically dehorned Ba-
zadaise cattle, as Mr Johan-
nesen believed the demand
for poll genetics was only
going to increase over time.
