Goals: Below are the goals the intern has developed with his/her internship supervisor.
● Contributing to the development of a social media plan and daily social media
activities (learning social media management skills).
● Representing WebStore at various events on all campuses (Urbana-Champaign,
Chicago, and Springfield).
● Promoting WebStore and its services.
Learning Objectives: Below are the activities and areas of learning that will help the intern
achieve his/her goal. These activities are agreed upon with the internship supervisor.
● Learn and familiarize with social media management tools (Hootsuite).
● Construct interviews for video projects.
● Research promotion tactics and familiarize myself with editing tools related to
projects.
● Collaborate on promotional video projects from concept to execution.
Learning Outcomes: Below are the learning outcomes the student hopes to accomplish at the
end of the semester that will be used to identify whether the student has accomplished the goals
outlined above.
● I will be able to explain the responsibilities of being a social media manager.
● I will be able to describe WebStore’s organization and what its primary objectives
are.
● I will have learned how to communicate and cooperate effectively with staff
members in order to achieve goals.
● I will have learned how to analyze social media campaign insights to maximize its
effectiveness.
