THE INNOVATION: HORIZONTAL DRAINAGE WITH TERRADRAIN FOOTBALL
the foundation
Technological development of the TERRADRAIN range of geocomposites by Maccaferri Building Industry and Sport Division, has created
an innovative and completely different drainage system with a horizontal flow, for artificial tur f pitches.
The high void-ratio and structural channels parallel to the flow direction make TERRADRAIN FOOTBALL an efficient system to rapidly
drain water to the long-sides of the pitch. Water filtering through the artificial turf is quickly conducted to the pitch boundaries, where Excellent drainage capacity
it is collected in prefabricated channels, capped with protective gratings.
