Expeditions Trip 1
Backpacked: 40 miles and canoed 40 miles around the Appalachian
National Trail. I purified my own water & ration my food over an
8-hour day solo expedition. I learned compassion, and how to be a
leader. Outward Bound Trip 2: Boston-Thompson Island &
Boston Harbor Islands: I learned paddling techniques, capsizing
and rescue procedures, weather and forecasting, coupled with
navigation skills. I studied water and shoreline ecology. I learned
environmental responsibility and teamwork.

Dear Noah,

We would like to congratulate you on your acceptance to the 2013 Senator Ben Cardin Jewish Scholars Program.

This year's program will run for 12 weeks, starting on Monday February 11th 2013, at Goldberg's Bagels (located at 1500 Reisterstow
March 25th and April 1st in observance of Passover.

The program will begin with dinner at 7:00pm and conclude at 9pm. All students must arrive by 7:30 to avoid counting as an absenc

The lobbying mission is currently set for April 22nd-23rd. We will be leaving after school on the 22nd and returning between 5 and 6pm

In addition to our lobbying mission to Washington DC, a select number of students will also have the opportunity to attend the AIPA
attendance to the AIPAC Conference and space will be limited.
