RULE YOUR SPIRIT!

TAKE THE CITY!

King Solomon wrote a very interesting proverb,

actually, a mere sentence in the 16th chapter and

the 32nd verse: HE THAT RULETH HIS SPIRIT IS
BETTER THAN HE THAT TAKETH A CITY."

When I consider what would be involved in taking a

city in Solomon's lifetime, this small line within the
overall text suggests to me that Solomon's analogy
was meant to imply that "ruling one's spirit is a hard
thing to do."

In order to rule ANYTHING, we need to know "what

it is and how it functions." Off of the top of your
head, what do YOU know about the spirit? Thinking
right along with you, the first thought that comes to
my own mind is that the words of the Lord Jesus is
the place to start. He said that our spirits MUST be
"born again." Once that task has been
accomplished in our own lives by the cross and by
His resurrection, Jesus points us to the Holy Ghost.
When we are born again, the Holy Ghost enters into
our spirits, lives there eternally and we become "the
temple of God." At some time in the near future, the
Holy Ghost that is IN us will respond to the Lord's
shout, and as the Holy Ghost raised Jesus from the
dead, the Holy Ghost will raise us from the dead,
Glory Be to God!!!

Yet, back to Solomon, how do we rule our spirits?

The first thing I believe we should remember is that
when Solomon wrote what is known as "the Book of
Proverbs," he did not know about the born again
experience. So within Solomon's frame of reference,
ruling the unregenerate spirit was certainly "a hard
thing."

For those of us who have been saved, we can look

to the letters of Paul, John, Peter and James for
some clues. For example, Paul taught that the spirit
and the soul are wrapped together very tightly,---so
tightly that it is only by the word of God that we can
divide or separate the spirit from the soul. Did Paul
mean "the bible?" I don't believe so for one simple
reason. The bible was not published until several
centuries later, under the regime of King James.
Our next clue is with John.

John writes that JESUS IS THE WORD MADE
FLESH. So the word is Jesus Himself.

So how do we who are born again RULE our

spirits? Let's go back to Paul. Paul laid out a few
steps, shared with the Roman Christians in the 8th
chapter, outlined briefly in this order: 1. mind the
things of the spirit; 2. mortify the deeds of the flesh
3. Be led by the Spirit of God---The Holy Ghost.

Then to the Galatians Paul reflected on the battle

that goes on in us between our spirits and our souls.

So what is the answer??!!! To the Galatians, Paul

amplifies on the 3 points. We are to crucify the flesh
with the affections and lusts and if we do so, we will
"LIVE" in the spirit and "WALK" in the spirit.

Does the bible give us detailed specific steps that

teach us how to live and walk in the spirit? If I were
to pick ONE chapter, it would be Ephesians 6.
Why? Because the enemy is a major hindrance to
our spiritual living and walking. The armor of God
will not only stop the enemy, but through the
practice of contending with the enemy, we will have
made giant steps toward ruling our spirits.

In the final analysis, how we rule our spirits is really

connected to the quality of our relationship with the
Holy Ghost. THE WORD HIMSELF taught us that
He had to leave this earth so that the Holy Ghost
could come "into us." If Jesus didn't leave, the Holy
Ghost would not have come. Simply put, if we
grieve or quench the Holy Ghost, we will have no
rule over our spirits. And even though we may be
born again, the enemy will have enough access to
us to keep us from ruling our spirits.

Like Solomon implied, having rule over our own

spirit can be as hard as TAKING A CITY," even if
we are born again. Surely, Solomon knew that
having WISDOM is the key to ruling our spirits,.this
too confirms the fact that the Holy Ghost, the source
of wisdom, has ALL of the answers that you and I
need, to rule our own spirits.

 DISCERNING GOOD FROM EVIL: Get Up Close!

One of the ways that the Holy Ghost helps us to rule

our spirits is to teach us how to discern good from
evil. Jesus made things very simple. He said "look
to the tree. If the tree is evil, then the fruit will be
evil." Our problem today is that the trees are so
ornate and "decorated" that it is hard to recognize
an evil tree throughout various camouflaged
systems. Recently, one of my mentees had a dream
that she saw a gorgeous tree, that from a distance
looked as if it were baring equally beautiful fruit.
However, when she got up close, the fruit were ugly
looking mushrooms.

That's it, Beloved. In this crucial time in history, we

have to "GET UP CLOSE!"

Let me give you a personal example. I entered into

ministry on October 25, 1981. By January, 8, 1983, I
received my first prophetic sign. It was a Saturday
afternoon and my daughter and her 9 year old friend
were in the living room, watching cartoons. All of a
sudden, this child, who I will call "Lucy," rose up and
began to loudly and vehemently prophecy the same
words, over and over again.

"THE WATERS OF HEAVEN SHALL FLOW DOWN

UPON THE HOUSE OF THE MINISTER AND THE
MINISTER'S DAUGHTER. THESE WATERS
SHALL HEAL THE CITY. GREAT MIRACLES
SHALL FLOW FROM THIS HOUSE!!!!"

Wow. Doesn't that sound great and holy!!! An eager

beaver like I was in those days, I latched onto that
word like white on rice. A duck to water. Bacon and
eggs. That word through the mouth of a 9 year old
made it appear to be even more "authentic." Lucy
was a very precocious child. In fact, she spoke in
tongues when she was 8. She could even preach
at such a young age. So this was "my ticket to ride"
on in God with my miracles and healing ministry.
From that day, I called every thing I did for God,
"Healing Waters."

Well, it took more than 25 years for that evil, well
decorated, ornate tree to be exposed. For in my
research for the book "The Fake Jesus: Fallen
Angels Among Us," I discovered that the fallen
angel, Maitreya, calls what he does "Healing
Waters." The one who has called himself
"Maitreya has an agenda that sounds very much like
that of the Anti-Christ.

STOP AND THINK ABOUT THIS FOR A SECOND

OR TWO. Just as my ministry was about to go forth,
a fallen angel "branded" me with Maitreya's
calling card, "healing waters." I founded a church
by that name. I closed it. I had a thriving web
ministry by that name. I SHUT IT DOWN!!!!!

You see, Beloved, when I did my research,

I GOT UP CLOSE!"

So what am I saying to you with this example from

my own personal experience?

We are living in the age of Laodicea, an age of

rampant spiritual deception and religious
counterfeits. NONE OF US ARE EXEMPT. These

A RELATED EXCERPT FROM "THE FAKE JESUS:

Fallen Angels Among Us.
Note: Benjamin Creme, still alive today and in his 80's, is
consider among the occultists to be the "John the Baptist" of
Maitreya. As John the Baptist prepared the way for "the
Christ," Benjamin Creme has been preparing the way for "the
Anti-Christ."

Is Maitreya the anti-christ?. Well, according to his mission and

his purpose, there is a very close resemblance. If he IS the
Anti-Christ, then we can consider that II Thes 2 has occurred
already, in July 1977. For those who don't remember, it is
believed that "He who lets" would be taken out of the way
when the Anti-Christ is revealed in the flesh. Maitreya was
revealed in the flesh in 1977. If He "who lets" is the Holy
Ghost, then the Holy Ghost "has been taken out of the
way." What does that mean? Good question!!!!

According to Benjamin Creme, Maitreya

descended in July 1977, allegedly from his
ancient retreat in the Himalayas and took up
residence in the Indian-Pakistani community of
London. Furthermore, Creme alleges that
Maitreya has been living and working there,
seemingly as an ordinary man, with his true
status known to relatively few. He has been
emerging gradually into full public view so as
"not to infringe upon humanity's free will."

Not so. Maitreya descended from higher than

the Himalayas. He descended from second
heaven. Creme himself has been lied to,
deluded and deceived, because the agenda of
the "god of this world" is to rule all humanity at
any cost. Since demons are infamous liars,
don't believe for one minute that Maitreya is

 embodied 24-7. He is a fallen angel, who like
the others who call themselves "ascended
masters", Maitreya is the "master of masters."
They can only function as we do on earth by
taking over the body of a human being who has
opened the door to them by submitting their
free will to consciousness altering techniques.
Religious devils have more than merely
infringed on free will. They have literally stolen
the bodies and souls of the vulnerable." (pg 54-
55)
