Title of Activity: Listening and Saying

Purpose: - To say something individually or all together in chorus


- To repeat information and get better pronunciation

Instructions: 1. Listen to the teacher as she explains
2. Teacher presents flashcards
3. Students repeat after the teacher

Justification:
This listening activity is appropriate for fourth graders because they are at the
stage where they can comprehend new information relatively easily but they
still need extra repetition and saying things aloud as groups or with their
classmates helps to allow the information easily get through to them and
improve their pronunciation of new words.
