LESSON SEQUENCE:
STUDENTS HAVE BEEN LEARNING ABOUT CUBES, PENTAGONS, TRIANGLES, ETC. FOR OUR ACTIVITY, WE'LL REVIEW OUR SHAPES
WITH FLASHCARDS THAT HAVE A PICTURE OF THE SHAPE AND ITS LABEL. AFTER EACH CARD, I'LL ASK IF ANY ONE REMEMBERS ANY
INFORMATION ABOUT THE SHAPE; 4 FOUR SIDES, 3 SIDES, ETC. ALSO, I'LL HAVE BRIEF TURN AND TALKS WHERE I'LL HAVE STUDENTS
DISCUSS IF THEY'VE SEEN THE SHAPE ANYWHERE IN THEIR DAILY LIVES (I.E. THE YIELD SIGN = TRIANGLE, TISSUE BOX = CUBE).
AFTERWARDS, I'LL HAVE EITHER AN OBJECT (TISSUE BOX, SMALL BALL, CAN, ETC.) OR PHOTOS OF SHAPES THAT SURROUND US IN
OUR DAILY LIVES (YIELD SIGN, DOOR, ETC.). I'LL SHOW THESE TO THE GROUP AND HAVE THEM ANSWER, "WHAT SHAPE IS THIS?"
