Review
As a class review the exercise from the previous step. Students can volunteer to read one of their written
sentences aloud, groups can take turns reading one of their sentences from Jumbled, or students can
read their un-Scrambled sentences aloud. Whatever exercise you’ve done, this is a key stage in catching
mistakes. Often other students can assist their peers in making corrections but if not you may need to
review certain problem areas.
El docente les pide que formen grupo de dos personas y reparte los worksheets a cada
estudiante y les da algunas indicaciones para que reconoscan y suprayen las
preposiciones de lugar, luego les piden que en voz alta para que participen entre todos
y les pregunten donde estan ubicados las preposiciones en cada uno de las oraciones
que estan abajo.
Despues, en la otra actividad del worksheet el docente realiza un Speaking activity donde
les pide que realizen una pequeña conversacion con las preposiciones ya aprendidas.
Example A- I went around the edge of the lake to find a fishing spot.
1. I looked above the cabinet to find my hat.
2. The two boys looked across the field towards the batter.
3. After the basketball game, I went to go eat dinner.
4. The boy leaned against the wall.
5. The mother walked along the side of the curb.
6. We were among the first people to arrive.
7. I walked around the block two times.
8. I showed up at the park after school.
The teacher performs a speaking activity for the students to interact and asks them to use these
phrases and create a small dialogue using this image
.
