Activities
a. Pre lesson:
TIME
 Teacher shows power point slides
 Teacher introduces these occupations
 Then, teacher gets the pupils to talk about the occupations
 Teacher asks questions to encourage active participation
THEME
World of b. While lesson:
 Teacher shows pictures of occupations with artistic effects
Knowledge
 Pupils guess the names of occupations and what do they do
 Teacher introduces sentence structure to the pupils
 Teacher drills the pupils to use the sentence structure correctly
 Eg: A postman delivers letters.
TOPIC  Teacher practices the sentence structures with the pupils
UNIT 4  Mainstream:
People Around o Pupils practise in groups
Me o Teacher distributes picture cards (from the flash cards)
o Pupils take turns to talk about the occupations
 Linus:
o Teacher shows occupation flash cards
o Teacher gets the pupils to name the occupations
o Teacher encourages the pupils to talk about the occupations by using the sentence
structures provided
o Teacher may ask the pupils to listen and repeat after teacher especially for low
achievers

c. Post lesson:
 Teacher gets the pupils to turn to AB page 23
 The pupils match the pictures based on teacher’s descriptions
 Linus: Teacher may conduct a separate listening activity
 Teacher checks the answers with the pupils
