2. Bricks shall be hard, well burnt and consistent in
dimension
3. Check position, alignment and room dimension
4. Concrete surface is level to receive brick
5. Mortar mix (1:3 or as specified) – gauge box to be
used for site mix
6. Dowel bar size 6 mm dia., 450mm long and
exmet at every four courses
7. Bricks are wetted before laying
8. Check evenness and verticality of brick wall
9. Proper bonding & keying provided at corner and
intersection at every four courses
10. Last layer, brick below beam soffit, to be laid in
45o /diagonally
11. Joint within the tolerance (not exceed 15mm) and
fully grout with mortar.
