Last spring, the Avi Chai foundation released a report entitled


“Schools That Work: What We Can Learn from Good Jewish Important ARS Dates:
Supplementary Schools.” This study confirms that weekly religious
school education can be successful. Perhaps more importantly, the Mark Your Calendars!

offering suggestions for replicating the excellence that the research

Child's Heart, an Israeli-based international
humanitarian effort which provides, regardless
of religion, race or finances, life-saving
pediatric heart surgery when such surgery is
unavailable in a child's home country. After
raising awareness and funds for Save A
Child's Heart, Jonas visited the medical facility
