CROSS-BORDER FLOWS
TRACK & ANALYZE A COUNTRY’S CROSS-BORDER TRANSACTIONS
WITH BLOOMBERG’S SUITE OF ECONOMIC SOLUTIONS
Examining trends in country-to-country economic and financial flows can help investors to get direction on where to allocate
their portfolio’s assets – both in terms of equity and bond securities.
Bloomberg offers a suite of economic functions to help investors track and analyze cross border flows:
TRADE FLOW
ECTR <GO>, a Trade Flow tool, provides an interactive trade flow map that allows you to see the export and import values
between a selected country and its global trading partners. The data is provided by the International Monetary Fund (IMF)
Direction of Trade Statistics, which has its own hierarchical method of grouping countries and regions.
