Summary: In the article, Teacher Efficacy and Practice in Meeting the Needs of Diverse Learners:
How Do Partnerships Support Teachers, Penner-Williams discusses ways to meet the needs of
diverse learners. First, it stated that classrooms are becoming more diverse and educators are
needing to learn how to adapt. Teachers tend to meet the needs of these diverse students by
planning instruction and using a variety of strategies in their instructions. Lastly, it also
mentioned that partnerships have a great impact on a teacher’s ability to adapt to a student’s
needs. When it comes to Universities, many offer preparations on how to meet the diverse
needs of students. It is frequently mentioned how important it is to develop different ways to
reach these diverse students.

Summary: In the book, Marketing for Nonprofit Organizations, Kotler discusses many different
aspects of marketing and how you can use it in different business scenarios. He begins the book
by laying out the definition of marketing. His goal is to help the readers understand what
exactly marketing is and all the different tools that are included inside of it. Then, he begins to
inform the reader on how marketing can be used for nonprofits too. Finally, he lays out the idea
that marketing can be applied to anything including services, people, places, and ideas.
