Introduction

This assignment is a reflection of my experience in educational technology class and the impact

it has had on the way how I convey information to my students.

This assignment will give you an idea of the way I teach and how it help’s students to better

comprehend the information that I have given them.

My Personal Philosophy

My time in education technology class has been quite an interesting and insightful one, it has

given me useful ideas that has enhance the way how I teach by providing me with the right tools

that has improve the way how I teach.

By studying educational technology, it has shape the way how I teach, by helping me to employ

technology and use it in ways that can greatly impact the lives my students.

My philosophy has com in three learning styles and in each learning style are technologies that

aid those learning styles; the first is by proving visual aids to help students to develop an overall

view point of the lesson that is being taught and it help’s to give them and idea about what is

being taught through visual aids, the technology that help’s to facilitate visual stimulations are

PowerPoint presentations, charts and videos that will help the students to gain a better

understanding about what has been taught.

The second is interactive, this help’s the students to interact with what they have been taught by

allowing them to engage with others, this help’s them gain proper insight in how they understand

what is being taught and gives them a hands-on approach in how they can better grasp a

particular concept, the technology that is best to assist the students are: skype and online

discussion that allows the students to have a much greater understanding of the lesson.

The third and final are games, this allows the children to learn while having fun by creating

games that not only opens their minds but allows them to enjoy themselves while they are

gaining knowledge, technology has played a vital part in the way how I teach my students and

how they understand and utilize concepts.
