AccurioPress C6100: Konica Minolta wins international award

The award, which highlights the exceptional quality of the printer in the mid-volume production
segment, was awarded during the Konica Minolta European Leadership Campus, where senior
executives of the company assisted more than a thousand distributors from 53 countries.

Konica Minolta received the award granted by Keypoint Intelligence and Buyers Lab
International (BLI) during the event held in Berlin for suppliers and distributors from Europe, the
Middle East, and Central Asia.

BLI and Keypoint Intelligence are two international benchmark companies offering market
research, data analysis, sales tools, sales tools, and reliable, independent information about the
document printing segment. Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress C6100 printer receieved BLI’s 2018
PRO prize for the best color printer medium-volume color printer managed with the EFI Fiery
IC-315 controller.

The award recognizes the excellent and uniform image quality, high productivity, format variety
and the extraordinary ability to manage teamwork. This industrial digital printer is the full
package for those users that look to maximize productivity.

In their report, BLI highlights the automatic functions that the Integrated Colour Unit (ICCU)
provides, located just next to the print motor in Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress C6100. The unit
includes a scanner capable of working with documents single or double sided and a color
spectrophotometer. One of the main differences with the ICCU, in comparison with other
automated systems, is that it can make automatic adjustments during the time it is printing,
instead of the user having to manually intervene to adjust the gradient, the maximum density,
double-sided front and back registration, support profile generation or gray balance.
