Working in partnership the HR specialist and generalist functions provide a comprehensive


service to the business. The specialist functions include recruitment, diversity, learning and
leadership development, compensation and benefits, shared services and employee relations.

As an analyst within HR:

You will support our recruitment efforts across Africa and campus activities which will
involve working with Universities, students and third party vendors in the region. This
includes:

Responsibility for the student ambassador and mentoring programme.

 Executing attraction and interview trips to West Africa


 Supporting the business areas who hire across campus programmes.
 Supporting students through their application process and offered candidates through
their onboarding processes.
 Working with the wider HR team to deliver engaging intern and insight programmes.
 Supporting the creation of attraction and hiring strategies
 Building relationships across HR and the lines of business to ensure stakeholders are
aware and involved in key activity.
 Collaborating on projects across HR that contribute our key people strategies and
initiatives

Training:

Your learning will come from undertaking a variety of tasks, projects and roles across the
GHR platform supplemented by identified training needs to help progress your career:
 You will learn how to work as part of a global team, interacting with global
counterparts and key stakeholders
 You will have an assigned a manager, a buddy and a mentor to help guide you during
your time on the HR Analyst programme
 You will take on real responsibility in an assigned role, working with and learning
from teams of professionals, including senior experts in their area, as well as
colleagues from around the globe
 On the job training will form a large part of your continued development once you
join your team
 You will create your own personal development plan with input from your Manager
 Various events will take place throughout the programme to continue the opportunity
for learning and networking with key HR contacts

Qualification:

 Candidates must have an understanding of the education system in West Africa and
how Universities operate Furthermore they must have a cultural understanding of this
region and knowledge of the local infrastructure
 Candidates are required to be a recent graduate or in their final year of study on track
for a minimum of a 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent) from any degree
discipline with a demonstrated keen interest in human resources/people initiatives
 Enthusiasm, a desire to learn and an interest in people
 Good verbal and written communication skills
 Good Organisation skills and attention to detail
 Good MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
