2.1. Model:
All models are suitable for the students since they cater different levels of proficiency
among them.
2.2. Konstruk :
Constructs help the assessors to determine the different level of students’ abilities
in a few set of rubrics provided in oral proficiency.
Scoring criteria helps the assessors to award marks based on the students’ proficiency
level.

Students are advised to take this test seriously as it is part of the SPM English Paper.
Thus, they are encouraged the read a lot of English materials and converse in English in
their daily conversation among their friends to improve their speaking skills.
Teachers should inform the students the importance of this oral test as part of the SPM
English Paper. Before the assessment, a detail briefing should be given to the students on
how the test is conducted so that the students will be fully prepared.
Teachers are advised to use the Models provided as guidance to assist them to conduct the
test properly. The marks should show gradual improvement in every assessment
conducted especially in Model 2, Model 3 or Model 4. Students should be given another
chance if they are not satisfied with the marks given.
6. HAL-HAL LAIN
ULBS should be conducted by assessors from other schools so that the marks given are
more reliable. The assessment should only be done twice, i.e.; once in Form Four and
latter in Form 5.
