in 2017. In spite of the challenges we had in the last year, we
determined and delivered on our objectives. Congratulations to all
of you! Well done!
Last year we also took time to understand what opportunities we
have in the Ophthalmology Therapy Area though we are leaders in
this market. We looked at how we can help more patients with
Anup Godbole Glaucoma, DME and Dry Eyes get the treatment they need and thus
Director, Sales & grow this market further. We have shaped the market in the past
Marketing - Eyecare and we are confident we can do this in the time to come. This way,
we will be able to help society while doing good ourselves as a
business - Do Good while Doing Well!
Thus we have clearly decided to pursue our 6 point strategy of:
1) Market Penetration
2) Product Prioritization
3) Retina
4) Institutions
5) Customer Engagement
6) PG’s
The EC & Retina marketing team has shared the plans for the focus
products for 2018 in the semester meetings and I am very confident
we can together make 2018 a blockbuster year. We know what we
want to do this year with clear goals & objectives. The only thing
remaining for us to do is “Execute, Execute and Execute”.
As you all know Allergan India’s dream is to achieve USD 100 MIO in
2018. We must rise to this challenge and deliver our share, you
know what the prize is…..

Vision Towards 100 Million


We have always witnessed a great show of Eye Care in all challenges in
market like GST, Price Cut or during any internal changes. I firmly believe
that such situations make us even more stronger. We are known for
consistency in performance in last many years. This is the reflection of a
strong team, cohesion in thought process and drive for business.
This year we intend to fast track our steps towards accomplishing this vision
Rajesh Kumar Pandey of 100 million sales in 2018 by surpassing our yearly sales budget through
National Sales focused approach towards six top priorities set in the beginning of the year.
Manager - Eyecare Business environment would remain challenging in as so much external
factors involved into it. However, we must shake off our self and take a
quantum leap in Q2 onwards.
We have showed a strong trajectory in new product performance and this is
the testimony of a powerful team and a smart strategy. All four new
products are doing extremely good and capturing market share with
progress of each month. We see a very positive trend in secondary of all
important brands and overall business of last month. We have planned
many mass campaigns keeping seasonality and business drive in the mind.
At the same time, we have very strategic meetings such as Glaucoma
Confluence and Vision Glaucoma program in next two months’ time. This
would add greater value to our leadership position in antiglaucoma market.
Now, our team is well set and SFE KPIs are much better in shape. First time
we have done extensive exercise on customer potential and yield. I am sure
this would give us positive direction in utilization of our resources and
efforts. We would remain focused towards in clinical effectiveness through
more intensive coaching and training programs.
The expected achievement of this year will be collective responsibility of all
of us working as a team. We need to focus on business without any dilution.
We as a team should be attentive towards customer services, Brand
development activities and field efforts with quality. We need to plan this
QTR to achieve more and to earn maximum.
Finally, I urge all of us to play our role significantly
to make this year 2018 memorable.

I am very much overwhelmed to share with everyone about the
remarkable achievement of 105% in Q1 made by us. Truly hard work,
following Basics, being focused towards our GOAL were the Steps we
followed to make up to the mark. Each member of my Team has

We do quarterly planning and to align with same every 2nd of the

It is said that “A single movement can change a person”, for me that


single movement was in July 2017 when Opsion HA was launched. I
did the basic work for my each product. I decided to target few set of
doctors for individual brands which actually helped me in
achievement of all the promotion products target.
