Sed English \ |Student Responses to class discussion questions “Why did we share
so much as a class? Why did we post our mantras for everyone to see?
What does sharing as a class have to do with teamwork and why is it
important?”;
All of the responses below were translated from Spanish to English.
Student I: “So that everyone can learn at the same time, share ideas. If one
person thinks one thing, another person can correct themselves and learn.”
Student 2: “Because we learn to live together and share together. We learn to
get along better. If | see that Student | is not working, | can tell him to continue,
to “keep going like it says on his mantra.”
Student 3: “So that all students can reflect about this and have an idea.. we can
reflect more and move forward and if | am sad | can feel better by seeing the other
mantras.”
Student 4: (In response to Student 3): This is true because when | watch videos,
| feel better after watching them. This is really true. It makes me want to continue
learning.
Student 5: “So they can know what | do and learn. “Two heads thinking are better
than one.” That’s what they said when | was on a team before.”
