A: Health Plan Philippines Inc. (HPPI) is a prepaid health care delivery system duly
licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to
operate as an organization for health maintenance, whose
central-function is to keep its members in good health.
      HPPI is designed to maintain normal health, prevent illness,
detect and diagnose diseases at the early stage, treat illness or
injury as soon as possible and help restore optimal health.
CORPORATE PROFILE
     Health Plan Philippines, Inc. (HPPI) is a corporation duly
organized and existing under Philippine laws, registered with
the Securities and Exchange Commission, accredited by the
Department of Health and licensed by proper authority to
conduct its business. It is a Health Maintenance Organization
(HMO), a pre-paid health care delivery system that takes care of
health care services for its members through its nationwide
network of accredited doctors, hospitals, dental and medical
clinics.
     HPPI is a pioneer in the health maintenance industry with a
solid twenty-two year experience since June 1986. It is a
founding member of the Association of Health Maintenance
Organizations of the Philippines, Inc. (AHMOPI).  Its mission is to
provide health care benefits to its members that include in-
patient and out-patient care, preventive health care, dental
care, special laboratory tests and diagnostic examinations and
referrals to Specialists/Consultants through its duly accredited
primary physicians in accredited medical facilities.
 
      Conceived by concerned medical and other people-oriented
professionals, HPPI carries a comprehensive health care
program that is affordable to a greater number of our
population.  While HPPI offers a set standard Health Service
Agreement, it also has the expertise of   packaging the most
cost-effective health care plan to suit specific needs of its
clients.
       
        HPPI is a member of the RFV Allianz Group of Companies, a
conglomerate of 19 corporations that include Flying V Gas
Stations Under TWA Inc., Chemical Alloy Corporation, Bioenergy
8 Corp., Insular Oil, Lubwell Corporation, Flying V Clark, OilWell,
Wallace Fuel Storage, Insoil, Jala Jala Bank, Ecology Specialist
Inc., Landcore Inc., Asphalt V Rock Corporation, Filoil, Filpride,
Petro Finance, V Star Trucking and Logistics Company and
Ecology Marine Inc..  To support its expanding operations
nationwide, efforts are being made to increase its authorized
capital to Fifty Million Pesos.  HPPI is managed and staffed by a
highly qualified team of experienced professionals.
 

B: Family Planning Organization in the Philippines, Inc (FPOP) was founded by Dr.
Jose Catindig (PPMP) and Dr. Gregorio Lim (FPAP) in August 4, 1969
through the merging of two separate and dynamic organizations: the
Planned Parenthood Movement of the Philippines (PPMP) and the
Family Planning Association of the Philippines (FPAP). Now it has 26
chapters and 8 community health care clinics (CHCC) to 40 provinces
in the country. It is also an affiliate of International Planned
Parenthood Federation (IPPF), the world's largest voluntary family
planning organization.

FPOP has a binary organizational structure. These are the national and
chapter –based volunteers and professional staff. It has volunteers
within the organization and program volunteers at the community
level. These volunteers serve as FPOP's link to the community as a
contraceptive distributor, community educator, and community
organizer. Thus, realizing its vision of empowering families and
communities and also taking full responsibility of their health and
quality life.
