e. In this article, Collet’s goal was to figure out how coaching interactions changed
among ones teaching experience. Coaching in teaching is most known for the way
feedback and instructional support impact the teacher’s actions. Through
experimentation, it was found that as teachers’ confidence went up, the amount of
support they were showed went down. Praise helped the teachers feel worthy of
the college degrees they earned, which in turn helped their confidence levels. The
coaching experiment went from instructional and supportive to giving praise and
showing affirmation.
