UNIDAD 13:LOS PRONOMBRES INTERROGATIVOS

Los pronombres interrogativos son las palabras que decimos al principio de las
preguntas. Es a lo que hay que responder. Vamos a enumerar los más importantes:

* WHAT = QUÉ o CUÁL (en pregunta llevan acento) Se utiliza para cosas.
What is your book? = ¿Cuál es tu libro?
What do you say? = ¿Qué dices?
What’s her favourite book? = ¿Cuál es su libro preferido?
A veces puede ir seguido de un nombre:
What colour is your car? = ¿De qué color es tu coche?
What time is it? = ¿Qué hora es?
What kind of person is he? = ¿Qué tipo de persona es?
* WHICH = QUÉ o CUÁL (se diferencia del anterior en que en este caso se
tiene que producir una elección) Vale para cosas y para personas.
Which is your bag? = ¿Cuál es tu bolsa? (hay más de una)
Which is your father? = ¿Cuál es tu padre?
También puede ir seguido de un nombre:
Which train is it? = ¿Qué tren es?
Which doctor do you visit? = ¿A qué doctor vas?
Para despistados: no confundas which (interrogativo) y with = con
* WHO = QUIÉN (seguimos poniendo el acento) Es para personas.
Who are you? = ¿Quién eres?
Who lives here? = ¿Quién vive aquí?
* WHEN = CUÁNDO When is your birthday? = ¿Cuándo es tu cumpleaños?
When does she study? = ¿Cuándo estudia ella?
* WHERE = DÓNDE Where is the party? = ¿Dónde es la fiesta?
Where do you live? = ¿Dónde vives?
* HOW = CÓMO How are you? = ¿Cómo estás?
How do you go to school? = ¿Cómo vas al colegio?
También puede ir seguido de un adjetivo:
How old…? (para decir la edad)
How many / much…? (para preguntar por cantidades)
How long…? (para medir el tiempo )
How often…? (para decir la frecuencia de una acción)
* WHY = POR QUÉ (separado y con acento) La respuesta es because = porque
Why do you sleep now?= ¿Por qué te duermes ahora?
* WHOSE = DE QUIÉN Para indicar la posesión
Whose the book? It’s mine = ¿De quién es el libro?
Es mio.
Esto no tienes más remedio que estudiártelo de memoria.
