In 2009, Nashville Metro Councilwoman Pam Murray lost a recall election to Jamie Hollin after constituents in her District 5 complained that she was not responsive to constituent issues and alleged that she was living and working in Detroit. She filed suit against Hollin and several other people involved in the recall campaign, alleging defamation. Murray volutarily dismissed some of the defendants, and the remaining defendants (including Hollin) were dismissed on summary judgment. The dismissal was upheld on appeal. This is a copy of the Final Order of Dismissal.
