IDENTIFY FIVE (5) GHANAIAN BLOGGERS AND MONITOR THEIR BLOG TO


FIND OUT THE SUBJECT MATTER, HOW OFTEN THEY POST, THE TRAFFIC OF
AUDIENCE ATTRACTED AND THEIR RELEVANCE TO THE SOCIETY.

KENI JOKO: Kenijoko is a weekly blogger. He started blogging two years ago. He writes
about issues of social concern. Most of keni's post is fiction. During the first week of monitoring
his site, he posted the male version of love me fiercely. Most of keni's viewers are ladies. He
receives at least 100 comments on each post. His post is highly relevant to the society since his
post touches on the day to day realities of life. keni's receives positive reactions towards his
post. The viewers also shear their lessons taking from the post. In the second week he posted
women who are passionate about football (MEN’S GAME). He shears Caroline’s (radio
personality) passionate comments on how she enjoys wearing Arsenal jersey during their games.
This post attracted a lot of female readers who enjoys football. The guys also enjoys watching
the game with their ladies also commented.

During the third and last week of our monitoring he posted stuff going on in the Big Brother
Nigeria house. He sheared stories about how the BBN housemates are getting along. This post
also attracts a lot of comments. Those who couldn’t watch it live were happy since they were not
missing out on the fun. Kenijoki’s site is an entertainment site. Which is highly relevant to
society, entertainment is like oxygen, it creates great hopes for life. it eliminates morbid
thoughts. It bonds people. We can resort when we are in despair; it also keeps the mind fresh and
sharp. This and more are the benefits Keni’s readers enjoy.

KWADJO PINYIN: Kwadjo Pinyin is a popular Ghanaian weekly lifestyle blogger who
specializes in relationships and their challenges. On our first week of monitoring, he posted the
road to the altar, a fictional story. Most of his audiences are women who contribute more with
their life experiences. His comment box boosts from 200 and more. Our next ,monitoring saw
him post “20 things Ghanaian Divorcees and Single parents wants to know about marriage and
more” this was to mark the commemoration of world single parents day, to encourage them on
how they are presumed as failures in marriage. The audiences here were mostly victims of
divorce and broken homes. The traffic at his site is very keen since it attracts both local and
foreign audience. The Importance of his site is to give people the platform to share their life
experiences and also as a place where many others tap inspiration and lesson and advice.

ABA RADICAL: The next blogger is Aba Radical a young student of the Ghana Institute of
Journalism offering Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Majoring in Journalism.
Some of her stories include: original fake love, screen saver, Bediako, robbed of life. Maame
wh3, the mistake of a night rollercoaster love, lost hymen, and not virginity. She posts mostly
with the current issues at the time which includes her latest “US Military Agreement: If I Don’t
Know Death, Don’t I Look at Sleep?” This talks about the most recent Ghana government and
the US military based agreement.

Most of her audience are students and some from the general public. She has an audience traffic
that is massive with many students sharing their opinion on her topics. The relevance of her blog
site is to help students know the happenings in schools and also give a student contribution
platform for them to add up to the happenings and current affairs of the country.

VICTORIA OKOYE: The next on the list is Victoria Okoye a popular Ghanaian blogger who
specializes in the lifestyle of her country. She use the questioning technic in her posts. Her first
post we monitored was “what does your city do better than any other in the world?” which she
shared how “waakye” is made and giving room for her audience to contribute. Most of her
audience are the youth. The traffic at her site pops more than 200 comments at each post. Her
second post was “if you could change one thing about your city, what would it be?” where she
opted that more shaded seating and benches at street corners, bus stops and under trees be an
artistic intervention. The relevance of her blog site it to involve people in the development of
their societies.

AMEYAW DEBRAH: Our last blogger is Ameyaw Debra a renounced fashion and
entertainment blogger who is not limited at the time of post. He posts as at when the information
pups up. Debra is followed by a large number of people both local and around the globe. The
traffic at this site is very keen comprising of people from all forms of age and gender. His
comments boxes is always packed with opinions from his attracted audience. The relevance of
his blog site is to entertain and share information in both the fashion and entertainment industries
which help people accustomed to the latest happenings in the genre.
