This Article “Ethics in educational technology: towards a framework for ethical decision

making in and for the discipline” address one of the special issues within educational technology.

The Association for Educational Communications and Technology contributes to educational

technology to show the importance of ethics in domains of educational technology. Furthermore,

implanted ethics in what educational technology professional specialists and/or scholars is being

overlooked by the importance of the performance and ethical standards. There are three relating

dimensions in this framework which are values, principles and people with an addition two that

are not depicted called context and technology. These frameworks are here to engage those who

are involved with educational technology to think seriously about the ethics of practice and

research of technology. This was a great article addressing issues in educational technology.
This article supports the educational technology issue of legal/ethical problems. This article

depicted the framework of ethnics and the reason why it should be within educational technology

professional specialists and/or scholars profession.

There are possible solutions to the legal/ethical educational technology issue that already exist

but are not effective enough to solve these issues.

This Article “The impact of technology-enhanced curriculum on learning advanced algebra in

US high school classrooms” addresses replacement of traditional algebra curriculum with

interactive software, wireless networks and technology-enhanced curriculum. The two programs

used to enhance mathematics education are dynamic representations and classroom connectivity.

Dynamic representations help students create multiple perspectives on mathematical ideas while

classroom connectivity is an in-classroom network, such as wireless communication of

computers, and specific networks to link hand-held devices. Classroom Connectivity helps

transform the social and communication arrangement of the classroom. Both programs have an

impact on student learning of algebra concepts including problems.


This article supports two educational technology issues of social and educational enhancement.

This article give incite on educational technology and best choice programs that will get students

involved. With the two programs, this article discussed students are getting social interaction and

are being educated.

There are possible solutions to education and social educational technology issue that already

exist. But as I future educator I can continuously know who my students are and what they are

interested in so that the technology throughout the classroom will be best for them.

This article “Critical Technology Issues for School Leaders” address new technologies in the

educational system which changed classrooms. School leaders are very aware of today’s

technology change, it intertwined into daily lives, which these leaders can find it impossible to

keep up with the change of this legal landscape in educational technology. School leaders are

important and focus on technology issues involving social life, harassment, privacy, special

education, and plagiarism. Furthermore, school leaders do not understand the legal conditions

and its hard for them to understand the importance of educational technology and the law.
This article supports two educational technology issues of social and educational enhancement.

This article gives incite on educational technology and how it effects school leaders making it

difficult for them. This article discussed students are getting social interaction and are being

educated.

There are possible solutions to education and social educational technology issue that already

exist. But as I future educator I can continuously take this instructional technology class which

allows me to know technology content before going into the schools.
