expresión se usa para expresar que te gusta mucho o estás

Otras expresiones
Bailar es mi deporte favorito.- Dancing is my choice of
sport.
I am mad about cats.- Me apasionan los gatos.
No soporto nadar.- I can’t stand swimming.
No me apasiona en especial.- It’s not my cup of tea.-

Yo + gustar + infinitivo o gerundio del verbo (I like+


infinitive or gerund).
Ejemplos:
Me gusta cantar -- I like to sing/ I like singing.
Me gusta ir al cine -- I like going to the cinema.
Me gusta hacer deporte -- I like doing sport.
-Disfruto+ gerundio (I enjoy + gerund)
Ejemplo:
I enjoy dancing.- Disfruto bailando.

-To play (jugar) se usa para las actividades que implican


una competición o alguna clase de pelota. También se
emplea para jugar al ajedrez (chess), cartas (card), al
billar (pool) y a juegos de mesa (board games).
Ejemplos:
Me gusta jugar al baloncesto.- I like to play basketball.
¿Juegas al béisbol?- Do you play baseball?
¿Quieres jugar un partido de vóleibol?- Want to play a game
of volleyball?

-Para expresar que algo no nos gusta usaremos la forma


negativa ‘don’t like’ y ‘hate’.
Ejemplos:
No me gusta leer.- I don’t like reading.
Odio cocinar.- I hate cooking.
