It is truly my honor to write this letter of recommend for Miss Diana Rivas for the position you have
available at your company. I have had the pleasure and honor of working very closely with Miss Rivas
for the past four years as a community volunteer for our program; Cultiva La Salud. From the first day
I met Miss Rivas, it was evident that she has a genuine caring and compassion for our community,
youth and residents and a drive to improve the lives of those in underserved communities. She
demonstrates her commitment of community service by utilizing her many assets such as speaking,
writing and reading in Spanish and English, her highly efficient computer skills, extensive knowledge
of social media, organizational skills, fearless personality, quick ability to learn any new program, her
self-driven motivation, but most of all her unselfishness and commitment to help other people.

For as long as I have known Miss Rivas she has proven time and time again how organizing community
residents to advocate for improved quality of life can play a powerful role in change for better
communities. She is truly the hardest working young lady I have met as of date. She has volunteered
for our Local Control Funding Formula initiative, Health for All Campaign and our Powerful People
Leadership Development. She sacrifices so much, including her personal life to help so many other
people in the community and she is loved by everyone she encounters, especially our community
residents.

I have no doubt that Miss Diana Rivas will succeed in any position that she is in, she not only will meet
the basic job duties, but go over and beyond to work with community residents, stakeholders, other
youth and agencies to create safe/healthy environments in our community. It is without hesitation that
I highly recommend Miss Diana Rivas both personally and professionally.
