PURPOSE – Why am I teaching this lesson? What do I want the students to know/to be able to do by the end of the
lesson that they could not do before?

Students will be able to:

Identify the names of the eight planets, their shapes and some features (how many moons does the plane have?
the weather and their sizes)
Recognize the solar system and it definition
Work independently to recognize the planets name. (to listen and cross the word according to what have been
listen to)
Use the language for real conversations and ask what is the first planet etc…

Using a data show for a short video for the sky, PowerPoint to show photos for the space and the solar system, photos
of the eight planets, rope, two chairs, and listing and speaking worksheets.

RESOURCES –– What resources do I need to create the context and provide practice, so the students can do what they
need to do to develop? - Include realia, books, handouts, multimedia, songs, games, etc.
