Description:- BATTERY CHARGER WITH INBUILT DISCHARING FACILITY

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION:
1. During charging mode:
a) Input voltage AC side: 380-450 volt. 3 Ph. 50 Hz
b) Output voltage DC side: 60-120 Volt DC
c) Output current DC: Max 300 Amp.

2. During discharging made the output current should be in the range of 35 to 50 amperes.

3. Detail of Battery for which battery charger is required.

a) Battery Type: Lead acid LM battery
b) Battery Cap. In Amp. Hrs. : 450/500 AH
c) Nos. of cell in each battery: 04
d) Nos. of battery in one set (Connection in series): 08
e) Unit output voltage: 60-120 volt
f) Unit output current: 20-40 Amp.

4. Operating Mode:
The unit shall be suitable to work either in constant voltage or
Current mode while charging the battery. When the unit is used
For discharging purpose it should act in constant current mode.
5. Regulation:
Constant voltage – The value of output voltage should
be with in +/- 1% of the set value.
Constant current - The value of output current shall
be with in +/- 1% of the set value.

Efficiency – Not be less than 70% of half load & 80% of full load.

Ripple contents - Shall be less than 2% RMS

Harmonic contents – Shall be less than 8% at full load Power factor – input
side Shall not fall below 0.98 in charging mode at full
load condition.
Cooling – Shall be natural air cooled.
6. Protection :-
Over voltage/current: Necessary potation shall be provided.
Current Limit: During charging in constant current mode the output current
Shall be within +/- 1% of set charging value.
AC side fuse : Suitable rating HRC fuse or suitable circuit breaker shall be
Provided at AC side.
DC side fuse : Suitable rating HRC fuse or suitable circuit breaker shall be
Provided .
7. Controls: The unit shall be provided with the following min. control.
1. AC circuit breaker for emergency control.
2. Output circuit breaker.
3. Unit ON/OFF.
4. Trip reset push button.
5. Mode selection for charging/discharging / off
6. Current setting arrangement.
7. Voltage setting arrangement.

8.Warranty:
Warranty will be 24(twenty four) months from the date of commissioning.
