It is with great pleasure that I writing to highly recommend Gary Radix for the Master International

Management at IAE of Toulouse. He is one of the most consistent, hardworking and motivated
students I have taught this year at the University of Bristol.
Gary was one of my students for Environmental Economics for the academic year 2014/2015.
This is a demanding third year course which introduces the students to new concepts and ideas
on the economics of the environment. He had proven to be a conscientious and diligent student
with passion for environmental economics and current contemporary issues. He was an active
member in the class with his knowledge always going beyond the course material and his external
reading have made his essays a joy to read. As part of the course, the students had to present
on a specific environmental economics topic. Gary had cooperated with his classmates in a
professional fashion and gave an excellent presentation of an empirical paper showing his rapid
adaptation on the course. Gary has been punctual in attendance and submission of any work
required. He has excellent oral and written communication skills which have proven to be an
advantage he had developed over the last year at the University of Bristol.
Gary’s last work experience during the summer of 2014, in Romania, in an organic farm business
has augmented his passion for certain environmental and societal problems. The Environmental
Management course at your institution will provide him further with the knowledge and skills to
integrate with teams in private and public organisations and support issues of sustainability and
ecological responsibility. Gary has also followed the course of ‘Strategic Management’ at the
University of Bristol which already addressed the social and ecological responsibility of a
company. His marks for the course (77 percent in a project) is a proof of his strong academic
ability and passion for the subject.
Gary has the desire to be able to design and participate in the implementation of the
environmental challenges that organisations face. The courses he has followed over the last three
years together with his motivation will make him a strong asset at your institution. During his year
at the University of Bristol, Gary followed courses such as Marketing and Organisational Theory
in which he has also proven to be a very good student. Gary is adaptable and eager to learn. A
Masters at your institution will be an indispensable passport to Gary’s future plans. This degree
will offer and thus augment the technical skills required to follow a career that Gary aims at in
environmental management.
I can guarantee that Gary will be a valuable asset for your institution. Please do not hesitate to
contact me if you have any questions.
