OBJECTIVE
To obtain a position as an early elementary school teacher, preferably kindergarten or first grade,
that will utilize my dedication to children's educational needs and development.

○ Major: Early Childhood/Elementary Education

○ Field Experiences:
A.E. Burdick Elementary School, Milwaukee WI, 3rd grade
o Engaged students in two whole class lessons in English/Language Arts.
o Used several types of visuals to engage students such as technology, diagrams
written on the white board, and a poster board that I created myself.
Maple Grove Elementary School, Greenfield WI, 1st grade
o Taught three whole class lessons with a co-teacher on literacy skills and
strategies using the literacy workshop model.
o Used my time management and ability to work well with others to create
meaningful and engaging lessons.
Clement Elementary School, Milwaukee WI, K5
o Taught four whole class lessons on Social Studies, Creative Drama (movement),
Art, and Science.
o Used questioning strategies to steer lessons and had implemented engaging and
hands-on learning experiences.
Vieau Elementary School, Milwaukee WI, 4th grade
o Currently taught four whole class lessons that were cross-curricular in science
and English/language arts.
o Currently working on four more lessons on social studies and movement.
o Assisting with and gaining new classroom management strategies.
o Focusing on different assessments and assessment strategies to better
understand what students know or need to work on.
EXPERIENCE

○ Spoke to customers who wanted to return something that they had previously purchased in-
store or online.
○ Spoke to customers in person that had a complaint or compliment about products, their
experience at the store, management, or an employee.
○ Answered calls that were directed to the service counter which included:
o Complaints and compliments towards employees, management, products, or
their experience at the store.
o Questions about in-store and online products.
o Other Target stores inquiring about a certain product.
○ This job advanced my communication skills and interpersonal skills, as well as my listening skills.
