Critical Problem about Fibers

The fibers are bended in a wrong way, which is very easy to make the
fibers broken. This problem is the most critical and familiar. According
to the installation standard, the bend radius must be at least 40mm.
Critical Problem about Fibers

As the picture points out,

many rubber plugs that
protect the fiber cavity are
missing. This problem will
result in that rain water can
enter fiber cavity and be
harmful to the RRU.
According to the installation
standard, we must save the
rubber plugs!
Critical Problem about waterproof

There’s no waterproof with the two

RF cable connectors to RRU and the
rain water will be harmful to RRU.
According to the installation standard,
outdoor connectors such as RF cable
connectors must be done with the
waterproof way.
Problem about Screws

The screws fixing BBU or

RRU cover are missing.
Problem about Screws

The screws are not fastened.

According to the installation
standard, all the screws fixing
the equipment must be
fastened.
Problem about fixing cables

Cables in these sites are not fixed.

According to the installation
standard, all cables must be fixed
soundly and orderly.
Problem about layout cables

From this picture, we can see

that the layout of the cables are
too disorder to maintain later.
According to the installation
standard, all of cables must be
threaded orderly and soundly.
Problem about fixing cables

Some cable
connectors
in all sites
are not
fastened,
which will
result in the
connectors
in bad
connect.

the
installation
standard, all
connectors
of the cables
must be
fastened.
Problem about protection

The connector of
grounding cable of RRU
is not wrapped by Heat-
Shrink Tube, which will be
harmful to the RRU.
Problem about installation location

The installation location is wrong. According to the

installation standard, the horizontal error of the cabinet
should be less than 5mm.
Problem about fixing the waterproof terminal

In all sites, all of

waterproof match
terminal are not fixed.
According to the
installation standard,
this terminal must be
fixed with the power
cable.
Problem about Clean up the sites

After installation
finished ,some sites
are not cleaned up.
Problem about Grounding Cable

In some sites, the grounding cables

are connected to the BBUs in a wrong
location. According to the installation
standard, the correct location is the
screw which is marked a grounding
point label. The below picture
illustrates the correct connection.

In some sites, no grounding

cables are connected to APM
or RRU.
Problem about E1 Cable Connector

In some sites, some E1

connectors are made in a quite
wrong way, which will result in
the E1 connectors broken.

1. All the 16 E1 connectors must be done

1. Label “ALM RRU*” are used for RRU alarm cable, not for E1

1. Optical fiber (4 cords) for first sector must be tagged with Green color ring

2. Optical fiber (4 cords) for second sector must be tagged with Orange color ring

W2: 1-RX5, 3-RX6, 5-RX7, 7-RX8; 2-TX5, 4-TX6, 6-TX7, 8-TX8.

Site 0038HU-----Optical fiber lay out

1. Take care of optical fiber, just treat it as your baby.

2. Use color ring to tag fiber, not label.
3. 3 optical fiber for 3 sector.
Site 0038HU-----BBU Inter-connect cable

Not only BBU inter-connection interface but also cable is broken
