the tree, but pruning in fall or early winter, before sap
starts flowing, can reduce bleeding.
Some trees, like oaks, crab apples and elms, have strict
pruning windows (winter) to avoid giving pests and
diseases access to fresh cuts. Check with your local exten-
sion office to confirm pruning windows for your area.

her passing at the age of 88. Pearl passed away March 21, 2018
peacefully with family by her side at Castleview Care Centre in
Castlegar, BC.
Pearl is survived by her children Joan (Ron), June (Larry), Sally Tina is a sweet girl looking for lots of love. She is a 2-year-old spayed
female with loads of affection. Tina is a bit shy at first but with just a little
