Description of the Project Manager


The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Luanda is looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager for the soon
to be opened Orange Corner in Luanda.

As Project Manager you contribute to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Angola by managing the Orange Corners
programme. You are the link between the Orange Corners back office in the Netherlands and the first point of contact
with all relevant stakeholders in Angola, e.g. the Embassy of the Netherlands in Luanda, entrepreneurs selected for
the programme, universities, businesses, service providers, bookkeeper, mentors and other involved organizations. The
Project Manager coordinates trainings, master classes and other events. (s)he is also responsible for the organization of
network events, in consultation with the Orange Corners partners and the Netherlands Embassy in Luanda. Marketing
and communication management is also the responsibility of the Project Manager, promoting Orange Corners online
and offline. The Project Manager is also responsible for the organization of open calls for new applicants for the Orange
Corners entrepreneurial programme. The Project Manager will deliver a contribution to the bilateral relationship
between Angola and the Netherlands through results in these fields.

Job requirements
For this job you need to have proven experience in the field of entrepreneurship and experience as project manager.
You have excellent English and Portuguese language skills, both in speaking and writing (C1 level). Because many of
the communication will be through social media we are looking for someone that knows and understands the latest
developments in this field, and also possesses excellent design skills. You need to be a multitasker that is flexible and
creative and thinks in solutions.
