Information counters are located in the arrivals hall, the check-in area, and outside
the terminal building. These are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

 How to get there

Driving Directions

Kempegowda International Airport is located east of the Bangalore-Hyderabad

national motorway (NH7). From the city centre, head northwards along Ramana
Maharshi Road / Bellary Road and continue on the NH7. The airport is well
signposted from this motorway and is located off BIAL Road.

Bus

Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (tel: 1 800 425 1663;

www.mybmtc.com) operates an airport shuttle service connecting various locations
in the city to Kempegowda International Airport. Shuttles on each of the nine routes
run at least once every 30 minutes. There is a BMTC information desk in the
terminal.

Taxi

Megacabs (tel: (80) 4747 4747; www.megacabs.com), Karnataka Taxi (tel: (80)
4466 4466; www.karnatakaholidays.net) and Meru (tel: (80) 4422 4422;
www.merucabs.com) operate taxis from the designated taxi area in front of the
terminal building. The journey time into the city can be up to two hours or less than
one hour, depending on traffic conditions. Fares range from Rs600 to Rs900.

Car Parking

All parking zones are located less than 200 meters from the terminal and offer
short- and long-term rates.

Money

There are ATMs on the ground and first floors, and bureaux de change on the first
floor of the terminal building.

Communications

A postal service is located on the ground floor. Free Wi-Fi internet access is
available at Kempegowda International Airport.

Food

Several cafés, bars and restaurants are located within the terminal building; the
majority of which are located in the departures area on the first floor. Among the
options is an eatery serving Chinese cuisine and a restaurant focused on regional
Indian food.

Shopping

There is a large duty-free outlet in the international departures area. The domestic
departures area also has several shops selling books, electronics, clothing and
crafts.
